Jazz Cash and Million Smiles Private Ltd jointly organized Pakistan’s largest youth leadership boot camp, Eagles Nest, which featured representation from diverse cultures and minority groups across Pakistan, gathered over 125 young delegates from 75 universities and 40 cities.
The four-day event empowered future leaders through experiential learning activities focused on strategic thinking, teamwork, and leadership development. This initiative aimed to equip participants with essential competencies for the digital age, with representatives from JazzCash involved in mentoring sessions with students.
When discussing the partnership, Jazz Cash’s Chief Experience Officer, Ali Irfan, shared, “By empowering purpose-driven youth from diverse backgrounds with the resources they need to lead and become drivers of change, we are planting the seeds for a brighter tomorrow. We are honored to play our part in nurturing future leaders and contributing to an inclusive, empowered Pakistan.”
Speaking at the boot camp, Umme Muhammad, CEO of Eagle Nest by Million Smiles, highlighted the significance of youth development in Pakistan, stating, “At Million Smiles, we believe that our youth are the soaring eagles of tomorrow. This boot camp is their nest – a place where they can spread their wings and gain the skills, confidence, and purpose needed to rise to extraordinary heights. Together with JazzCash, we are committed to nurturing these future leaders, empowering them to take flight and create meaningful change, not only in their communities but across the world and at the same time champion diversity, equity and inclusion.”
The wilderness-based learning and development program challenges participants to explore critical areas such as conflict resolution, goal setting, decision-making, communication, leadership, and self-reliance. The boot camp’s curriculum included trekking, mentoring sessions, spiritual leadership discussions, and team-building exercises.
This partnership between Jazz Cash and the Million Smiles underscores the critical need for investment in youth development as a pathway to sustainable growth. The initiative is a part of Jazz Cash’s broader strategy to advance digital inclusion through access to technology.
