December 2024 Remittance Inflows: Major Contributions from Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK, and USA
Workers’ remittances recorded an inflow of US$ 3.1 billion during December 2024. Marking a 29.3% Year-on-Year and 5.6% Month-on-Month Growth.
Cumulative Workers’ Remittances Hit $17.8 Billion in H1FY25, Up 32.8% from $13.4 Billion in H1FY24.
In December 2024, the inflows of remittances were predominantly sourced from Saudi Arabia ($770.6 million), the United Arab Emirates ($631.5 million), the United Kingdom ($456.9 million), and the United States of America ($284.3 million).
