The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan stood at US$ 19,663.6 million as of 31 October while the reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan slightly increased to $ 14,502.8 million.
“During the week ended on 31-Oct-2025, SBP’s FX reserves increased by US$ 31 million to US$ 14,502.8 million,” the central bank reported in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.
However, the net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks decreased by $ 55 million to $ 5,160.8 million, as depicted by the reserves break up for the period under review.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country, in the previous week ended on October 24, 2025, were $ 19,687.6 million.
Among them the central bank held foreign reserves of $ 14,471.6 million while the other $ 5,216 million were held by the commercial banks.
