Fertilizer production in the country during the first four months of the current financial year increased by 8.91 percent. During the period from July-October 2023 over 1.17 million metric tons of Nitrogenous fertilizers were locally produced.
250,315 metric tons of Phosphate fertilizer were manufactured in the country.
The output of the industries including food, beverages, wearing apparel, coke, petroleum products, chemicals, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, non-metallic mineral products, machinery and equipment witnessed growth during the period under review.
