Pakistan’s food exports shows growth of 48% in Nine months
Food group exports from the country during the first nine months of the current financial year 2023-24 increased by 48.17 percent. During this period from July-March, 2023-24, food commodities valued at $5.651 billion were exported, according to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

Global food prices in March recorded their first monthly increase in seven months, driven by higher costs of vegetable oils and dairy products, the Food and Agriculture Organization, reported.

The food exports from Pakistan increased by 37.12 percent during the first five months of the current fiscal year as compared to the corresponding period of last year, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics reported.
Pakistan exported food products of $1.944 Billion from July to October
Pakistan’s Food group exports from the country during the first four months of the current financial year grew by 30.29 per cent. During the period from July-October, 2023 food commodities valuing $ 1.944 billion were exported.
