The government on Monday (June 15) increased the prices of petrol by Rs.9.99 per liter, from Rs.265.61 to Rs.275.60.
The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority has worked out the consumer prices, based on the price variations in the international market, according to statement of Finance Ministry.
The price of High Speed Diesel have been increased by Rs.6.18 per liter, from Rs.277.45 to Rs.283.63.
According to the statement, there would be no change in the applicable duties/levies, which would remain at the existing level.
