Fatima Fertilizer organizes seminar on balanced fertilizer use to boost wheat yield

Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited on Sunday organized an awareness seminar to promote balanced fertilizer use aimed at increasing wheat yield. The event was attended by agricultural experts, company officials, progressive farmers and field representatives from across the district.

Key participants included Zonal Sales Manager Malik Muhammad Rehan, Development Officer Abdul Samad Abro, Regional Sales Manager Bishop Shehwani, Divisional Director Agriculture (Shaheed Benazirabad) Asadullah Kaka, Deputy Director Agriculture Bashir Ahmed, District Sales Manager Attiq-ur-Rehman, Technical Services Officer Arshadullah Abro, besides Mumtaz Ali Soomro, Yar Muhammad Laghari and Abdul Rehman, Manager Agricultural Development.

Addressing the seminar, experts stressed that enhanced wheat productivity relies on proper land preparation, the use of certified seed, and balanced application of fertilizers. They noted that Fatima Fertilizer is assisting farmers by providing scientifically formulated fertilizers, field guidance and modern agricultural support services.

Speakers said adopting advanced agricultural practices not only increases productivity but also helps maintain soil fertility in the long run.

Farmers appreciated the company’s efforts, stating that such training programmes play a vital role in improving farming practices and contribute significantly to strengthening the country’s agricultural economy.
