The overseas workers’ remittances witnessed an increase of 9.33 per cent during the first five months of the current fiscal year 2025-26, According to the statement of State Bank of Pakistan.
The inflow of $ 16.145 billion was recorded during July-November 2025-26 as compared to the inflow of $14.766 billion during July-November 2024-25, showing a growth of 9.33 per cent.
Similarly, on a year-on-year basis, the worker’s remittance went up by 9.36 per cent in November 2025 to $3.188 billion from $ 2.915 billion during the same month last year.
Remittances inflows during November 2025 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia (US$753.0 million), United Arab Emirates (US$675.0 million), United Kingdom (US$481.1million) and United States of America (US$277.1 million).
