CDA to Boost Tourism with New Safari Park, Zip Lines, and Cable Cars

Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has announced the launch of several major tourism projects in Islamabad. These initiatives are designed to elevate the city’s status as a premier tourist destination. Aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents and drawing more visitors to the capital, these projects are part of a broader vision for the city’s development.

In an interview with a private news channel, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, detailed plans to develop a safari park, zip lines, and cable cars. These developments are part of a strategic initiative to tap into Islamabad’s tourism potential. Randhawa mentioned that discussions with potential partners, such as AV Tech, are already in progress. Once agreements are finalized, the projects will be rolled out in phases.

“These projects will not only contribute to Islamabad’s tourism but also provide entertainment and recreational opportunities for residents,” Randhawa stated. He emphasized that the initiatives would be key to shaping the city’s future, enhancing its global appeal, and ensuring long-term growth and sustainability.

The safari park, zip lines, and cable cars are expected to be major attractions, drawing both local and international tourists. These developments are aligned with the CDA’s broader plan to transform Islamabad into a modern urban center that combines a high quality of life with thriving tourism and business opportunities.

In addition to tourism-focused projects, Randhawa highlighted several ongoing infrastructure improvements in the city. The CDA is working on the completion of key projects, including underpasses at Serena Hotel, Jinnah Underpass, and Srinagar Highway, as well as improvements to the city’s road structure. These projects are nearly complete, with final architectural work underway, and are expected to be finished in the next seven days.

The CDA remains committed to improving Islamabad’s infrastructure and living conditions while creating new opportunities for tourism and economic growth. With these new initiatives, the authority aims to make Islamabad a more attractive destination for both tourists and investors.
