Deputy Commissioner of Gujranwala, Naveed Ahmed, announced that 206 farmers in the district have been selected to receive tractors under the ‘Green Tractor Scheme.’ This initiative aims to support local agriculture and enhance farming productivity.
In a statement, Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed announced that each farmer selected under the ‘Green Tractor Scheme’ would receive a subsidy of Rs.1,000,000 on each tractor.
He added that the subsidized tractors would further bolster the agricultural sector’s development.
